U-32 School, 930 Gallison Hill Rd, Montpelier VT 05602
Departure time:
For those who need a ride, meet at 7:00 AM on Saturday outside of the Big Gym of St Albans City School. The school building will not be open. We will try to get to Montpelier by 8:30. This will give us time to register and check out the courses. Our younger racers begin at 10:00 AM.
Return time:
Ideally we will be back in St. Albans by 2:00 PM, but could be back as late as 3:00 PM.
Food and Drink:
Please supply runners with water bottles and lunch food.
COURSE: Tour maps will be available at the registration table. The courses are essentially the same as last year, though there has been some work done over the summer on the woods loops.
AWARDS: Individual awards will be handed out in the chute in each race up through the junior high races (some schools like to leave after the junior high races). Junior high team trophies, as well as high school ribbons and team trophies, will be given out at the awards ceremony on the hill. (If junior high teams would like to leave before the awards ceremony, they are permitted to pick up their team trophies as soon as the team scores are calculated.)
LOCKER ROOMS: There will be access to bathrooms, showers and locker rooms, although U-32 assumes no responsibility for valuables left in the locker rooms.
CONCESSION STAND: Refreshments will be sold during the meet.
WATER & MEDICAL SUPPLIES: A Certified Athletic Trainer will be on site for the event. Please bring your own supplies (tape, ice etc). Water jugs will be set up around the start and finish lines but athletes must bring their own cups/water bottles.
